Hi, I'm Martha!  I graduated from UW-Eau Claire with my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts-Illustration.  I then earned my teaching certification and became state licensed so I could teach. I started teaching in 2017, and am proud to be teaching art to K-6 students here in Neillsville, WI. 

I have four daughters, and in our free time we enjoy painting, hiking, biking, snowboarding, swimming, gardening, and watching movies.

COViD-19 School Out!!

Hello! While school is out I would like to be able to connect with students as much as possible! 

One place we can connect is on Artsonia. Artsonia is a digital platform by which we can upload and view, comment, and post new artwork to each students digital portfolio.  If you are working on projects at home, would like to see YOUR CHILD's artwork, or are looking for new projects to engage your child in please go to Artsonia.com to get online with art.  If you need help giving parent permission please email me for your student code.  If you have already given permission our classroom code is KBWH-YPFZ.  Entering the code gives you the ability to post and see new and old projects!

I do have a You Tube account set up as Ms. Gerlach, where I have begun to post videos demonstrating new art projects that you can try from home. I will continue to post a video weekly for all ages.
