Hello! My name is Amy Arndt. I graduated in 2004 from Apple Valley High School, which is just south of St. Paul, Minnesota. I then migrated to Wisconsin for college and graduated in January of 2009 from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Language Arts. I came to Neillsville because of my student teaching placement.
From there, I married my husband and stayed within the school district to be a substitute teacher before becoming a part of the Neillsville School District family.
Middle schoolers have had my heart for the majority of my career and I have taught 6th-grade ELA, 7th and 8th-grade ELA, 7th-grade Geography, and 8th-grade American History during my time at Neillsville.
I am also a lover of technology and have made the transition to becoming the current NSD Technology Director!
When not in school, I enjoy making jewelry, crafting, reading, watching movies, baking, and spending time with my husband and cat.
