My name is Jeff Hanson. I am the District Assessment Coordinator and Online Facilitator for our students taking College Coursework and students taking classes with the Rural Virtual Academy here at Neillsville Schools. I have been in my current position since 2019. After graduating from UW-EC with BS in Elementary Education, I started teacher here in 1990. I spent 15 years teacher Third Grade, 5 years teaching Second Grade, and one year teaching ELA/Reading in Seventh Grade. I have coached girls' JV basketball and boys' high school track. I have served on curriculum committees, PBIS Team, Leadership Team, and PST Team. As the District Assessment Coordinator, I manage the scheduling, distribution, and collection of Wisconsin DPI required assessments for the District. As the Online Facilitator, I oversee the online connectivity, learning progress, and grade reporting of our online learning students. I also help to coordinate some set up of audio/visual equipment for various events and presentations in the District. I have been happy to be part of this District and share my experiences with my wife Amy and four daughters, Madeline, Olivia, Emily, and Sophie.
