Director of Special Education & School Psychologist Email Phone: 715-743-8716 My name is Tonia Anderson Ruskin. I am the Director of Special Education and School Psychologist for the School District of Neillsville. My primary role is to coordinate services for students with disabilities ages 3 to 21 in our district. As a school psychologist, I am trained to help all children and youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally and emotionally. I collaborate with educators, parents and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school and the community for all students. I was born and raised in Clark County, Wisconsin. I began college at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI. In 2003, I graduated with my Bachelors of Science - Psychology (Art minor) from UW-Whitewater. In 2004, I earned my Masters of School Psychology (counseling emphasis) from UW-Stout. In 2007, I earned my Education Specialists degree in School Psychology from UW-Stout. I have been a practicing School Psychologist since 2005. I have been fortunate to work in the school districts of Whitehall, Granton and Neillsville. I have also had practicum placements in Independence (School Psychology) and Fall Creek (School Psychology and School Counseling). I am nationally certified as a School Psychologist. In 2009, I obtained my Director of Special Education & Pupil Services certification from UW-Eau Claire. I have worked for the School District of Neillsville since 2012. In my free time I enjoy - reading, making art, raising chickens, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends!
